What makes us special?

Becoming a foster carer can be a hugely rewarding but challenging journey. With us you’re never alone - you’ll get to meet lots of other foster carers and people who are passionate about transforming the lives of the children in their care.

There are opportunities to develop through training and support. We also hold regular social events for carers to network, create lasting friendships and support one another.

Our most recent event was an afternoon tea at a luxury boutique hotel next to Hyde Park.

We invited our foster carers to join us along with any friends they had that were interested in fostering or just wanted to know more about the process.

It was an afternoon filled with laughter (and lots of cake!), which gave our foster carers the opportunity to share their experiences with each other and also gave prospective foster carers an insight into what it is like to be a part of the Fostering Shared Services family.
