Foster Care Fortnight

We had a very busy Foster Care Fortnight this year!

We have enjoyed spending time with some of our current foster carers celebrating the wonderful work that they do as well as meeting some prospective foster carers and giving further information about what the role entails.

Pictured are just a few of the events that took place: An awards ceremony attended by Councillor Alex Sanderson, a pop-up stand at John Lewis in Sloane Square, an information event at Hammersmith Library and a 5K River Walk to Kew Gardens.

Luckily, the rain held off during the walk and the whole group (Fostering Shared Services staff, foster carers along with family members and children in their care) were able to enjoy lunch together at the Kew Gardens finish.
